Kal & Dija Save the World is an investigation of third culture kids, freeze tag, adding MENA to the U.S. Census, acrylic vs gel nails, and space travel.

Denmo is a uniquely talented writer with a spectacular eye for the intricacies and intimacies of real life. KAL & DIJA depicts the Arab immigrant experience as something simultaneously grounded and varied as the human experience and so enormous it is akin to science fiction. Each monologue builds upon the last, until the show ultimately ends a dynamic exploration of the realities of the American immigration system, building community, and the meaning of home.
